Despite its exoticism, JXXV seems to have a very mainstream appeal and, for me, was a surprisingly strong compliment magnet.

Although for most, I think JXXV would command a formal occasion to be worn, I feel comfortable wearing it just about anywhere. Despite its attractiveness, its quality, its complexity, and its exotic nature, JXXV doesn't make me feel like a king.

It doesn't inspire the feeling of maturity and power that I get from scents like Tuscan Leather or Royal Oud.

This is an all dressed up, hitting the town kinda scent, hands down.

Now my personal opinion: Its not 100% original as there are lots of well made, expensive offerings that smell similar to this.

It reminds me a lot of Tom Fords Plum Japonais as they both have oud, cinnamon, immortal with floral/fruity notes.

The bay leaf note is not my favorite as it always reminds me Bay Rum or Old Spice, I really wish Amouge left it out.

What I can say is it might take time for you to appreciat. The first time I really wore this fragrance was on a weekend with my pals in Las Vegas. The DJ was so loud that I had to pull her into me (but that was always the intention ;) ), she took a good sniff of Jubilation (which I always spray behind the ears), and she immediately complimented me on it.

It projects for the first 4-5 hours then tones down just a tad bit but 8 hours later you will smell this thing on yourself. It’s just so well made that I can’t express how happy I am to own a bottle. Amouage is known for strong colognes And Jubilation is probably the easiest to appreciate. I can't say anything more than has already been said. If there is something like that in the fragrance world, there you have it: This is THE KING of all perfumes for men EVER made period. It's so unique and original that no one has ever dare to imitate the opulence of His Majesty. We got some tickets to a pool party event at the Hard Rock so we decided to go. Like the losers we are, we got to the pool party pretty early but it had a decent amount of people there to serve.

It would take me 10 years to go through a full sized bottle of this stuff as I could not wear this everyday, or even one a week. This is not for everyone, and that is true with other Amouage scents. Jubilation is, categorically, the masterpiece of Bertrand Duchaufour.
